La autonomía provincial

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to determine the scope of provincial autonomy, and in particular, to clarify whether there is any qualitative difference with municipal autonomy. To achieve this end, the paper analyzes first the Constitutional Court’s case law on local autonomy, and then examines the new statutes of autonomy to find out if they include additional guarantees in defence of provincial autonomy.
