Abstract

This article analyses the new statutory framework that arises after the reforms carried out on local public employment. This new framework is a consequence of the economic crisis and the contention of public expenditure and it has been translated into several legislative measures since 2010. In particular, the article examines several elements of the statutory framework at stake, especially remuneration and working hours, and the reforms carried out on local public employment, especially the reforms carried out by Law 27/2013, of 27 December
