Mining concessions and urban planning

Abstract

The article addresses the concept of concession and specifically the mining category to study its relations with the municipalities and its impact on urban planning, both territorially and general speaking, either by sector or merely in urban planning. The article explores the classification of land and mining uses, the interrelation of interests and the consequent impact on the exploitation of mines and environmental protection, based on the requirements for the authorization of these uses in rural land, as well as the complications of the ius variandi of mine planning. Finally, the article addresses the peculiar casuistry of mineral waters and urban mining.
