Abstract
This study addresses a reflection on some of the most relevant factors to define the present and immediate future design of public policies for the elderly in a context of outstanding uncertainty and intergenerational conflict. SDG 11 requires, among other goals, ensuring access for all people to adequate, safe, and affordable housing and basic services and improving slums, within the context of inclusive urbanization.
