Abstract

Despite its widespread use, the legal framework of delegation of management still presents important interpretative doubts. One of them is the determination of its concrete scope of application: What type of public administration can use this legal tool? Who could be the recipient of the delegation of management? In the light of these questions, the object of this article is to briefly explore the delegation of management as a legal tool with the aim of specifying which legal actors can use it in our administrative legal system. After that, I will examine whether or not the Catalan legislation (specifically, Act nº 26/2010 of 3 August of Administrative Procedure of Catalan Public Administration) complies with basic state laws
