Main Article Content
The European Union (EU) has designed an environmental action framework where waste policies have acquired an essential role and, in turn, municipal waste management, in view of its incidence and repercussion, stands out. In line with EU policies, in Spain through the recent Law nº 7/2022, of April 8, on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy, it is intended to adopt as a legal mandate the separate collection of the organic fraction and the fraction green.
